Description

Set in the heart of glorious Perthshire, approximately one hour's drive North of Edinburgh and 20 minutes from Perth.

The Islamouth Beat is a fly-fisher's paradise particularly between the months of April and October. In July, there is a grilse run providing thrilling sport. If bigger fish are your fantasy, then September and October can provide both the numbers and the size. This is  a 5 rod beat with 2 boats, where you are looked after by two experienced and knowledgeable ghillies. They advise and assist where required and are happy to accommodate both skilled and unskilled anglers alike.

This is a mile and a quarter double bank beat and the opportunities for wading are exceptional.  There is a roomy and secure boathouse with full facilities where lunch can be taken.

The Meikleour House Beat  runs for a mile and a half both upstream and down from the house, on both banks of the river. Although offering some excellent fly fishing, spinning is acceptable and indeed encouraged in high water.

Our experienced ghillies are here to look after you - novices as well as the experienced are all welcome. Tuition and  advice are on offer if needed.
