Our chef Jack Marsh and his team excel in offering uncomplicated, well prepared good country food with a "from field to plate" philosophy. Being part of an estate means that we have access to fabulous local produce and we are particularly proud of our in-house butchery: all our meat has local provenance and is handled, prepared and matured by us. .

We have a "ZERO FARMED SALMON" policy and our owners banned this unsustainable produce from the day they took over. We have delicious alternative like rod-caught trout (brownies and rainbows) from neighboring lochs.
Our hearty cooked breakfast (also included with cottages) is served from 7:30am but if you need a earlier start just let us know the night before.
You can order a picnic basket to take with you in the morning, just ask a member of staff to give you a picnic order form.
